I know this will come as a shock to many, and I hope I'm not bursting too many bubbles.

"Truth Social" is already in a legal wrangle. It uses open source software called Mastodon as a basis. How much it was adapted for TS's use is unknown, but there are two important clauses in their user agreement in this case.
First, while anyone is welcome to use it, they may not claim ownership of it.
Second, if they fork the software in any significant way (or maybe any way at all), the user must make the new code open source and in public domain.
Guess what...
OH, you guessed? Wow! Anyway, TS has 30 days to change their user agreement to reflect truth - actual, empirical truth, not Drumpf Truth, and to publish their version for the world to see.
