So Mrs rtump

is planning another high tea in Naples. Rules are in place for attendees paying from $3000 up to $50,000. Looks like the Secret Service must check out all coming to the soiree. Who's paying for that? You can guess.
Website states:
"Guests will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres alongside tea and bubbles."
Tickets go for $3,000 per person. A VIP sponsorship for 10 guests costs $50,000, with "only 10 available," offering group "seating at one of the few premium tables," and "up-close and pre-eminent engagement."
The "exact location will be released to attendees closer to the event" by Trump's staff after the names of all attendees "have been submitted for vetting purposes."
The location is "approximately 30 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport" and "approximately 15 minutes from downtown Naples."
Attendees must agree to background checks and get clearance from the United States Secret Service.
Security will be "strictly enforced at all times during the event."
"Once names have been approved and the date has been set, no changes/substitutions/refunds will be available."
There will be opportunities to upgrade to a "Meet and Greet opportunity" with Trump during the event.
"Smart Spring Casual attire is required," meaning no tennis shoes, T-shirts, shorts or sportswear are allowed."

I can’t post it or won’t. It’s 5 letters but I doubt it will be in Wordle.

this will go down in grifter history as another "Whooops" thing. I wonder if they'll take nft instead of cash for a ticket?

https://www.thedailybeast.com/melania-trumps-high-tea-charity-under-probe-by-florida-authorities

An “exclusive high tea” planned by former First Lady Melania Trump for charity is under investigation after a New York Times report. As the paper noted this weekend, the Florida fundraiser is being held for a charity that isn’t registered in the state. The tea is meant to raise money for Fostering the Future, apparently a charity initiative of Be Best, Trump’s anti-bully campaign launched while she was still First Lady. Tickets—which are going for as high as $50,000—are meant to help support computer science scholarships for young people in foster care. Officials are pursuing an “inquiry” into the event, as the charity doesn’t seem to be registered in Florida. Trump responded after the report published, calling the story “dishonest reporting” by “corrupt media.” Trump said paperwork for the charity is “in the works.”

"Smart Spring Casual attire is required,"

If the host and the guests aren't, maybe the clothes can make up for it.

Seriously, what a dated expression. Wonder who wrote that?

Her grifty event is a 'tea' or 'afternoon tea'.

High tea was the evening meal for the working class in Britain and was eaten in the evening. The main meal was usually taken in the middle of the day and was called dinner. The evening meal was eaten at the table and consisted of something lighter than dinner.
