Can someone out there give me some HOPE?

The majority of sites that I read on the web are tilted in a liberal slant, I will admit that I go off the beaten path every now and then to get the other side's point of view. Well, I did that earlier and found that some conservative/right-wing sites are thrilled at Rmoney's chances in the Ohio, Virginia, Wisconsin, and even New Jersey.

This is going to worry me up until election night.

I read Nate Silver's blog religiously and I go to Public Policy Polls almost every day. Can someone out there give me some hope about President Obama's chances? I understand that early voter's in most states are voting for the President; that's the case here in North Carolina. What should I believe? The daily polls? The aggregated polls? All of this is making my head spin like Linda Blair in 'The Exorcist'.

1. I'm in the reddest part of NJ, and Romney is sure to win this part of the state.

As for the whole state of NJ, Romney doesn't have a chance in hell. My in-laws are all lifelong Republicans, and they are mostly going to vote for Obama.

2. The right believes Obama will win, but want to set up for calling it election fraud

So they inflate polls now so they can act shocked later and then write some books, get hits on their blogs showing research into fraud, etc.

There was one in particular that caught my attention about 100 plus year old folks here in NC on the voting rolls. I found it really interesting b/c there weren't any other news stories about this locally. Are these people really that desperate and conniving?

are going to win, and it will be much bigger than anyone is expecting

The women vote will do it

Do not believe the garbage that the gender gap is not there

When women go into the poll, no matter what they tell their spouse or pollster, they will NOT vote for romney

especially with the new mourdoch revelations, and romney endorsing the jerk in spite of the rape comments

I have been volunteering in my area. Just yesterday I drove a few Dems without transportation to the polls. It's just a scary thought that Rmoney is even being taken seriously. President Obama should be winning in a landslide!!

From that he is not an American, to he is a communist, a nazi, a socialist, hates America, etc. etc. etc.

Look at the polls. Who was responsible for getting bin laden.

about 20% said romney????

about 40% didn't know, and the rest said the President

There will be plenty of women who vote for Romney. It's the "What's the Matter with Kansas" behavior.

And there are plenty of racists walking around in high heels or are too big for their jeans.

Still, I believe Obama will get the majority of women voters. Even some votes from Republican women.

The first time I volunteered was in the 92 election.

I just haven't seen any election (in my lifetime) this contentious since 2004 and 2000.

In 2008, Even 2 minutes before the polls closed, they Freepers had it in their mind they were going to win in a landslide. Pa, Mich, OH, FL, NH CO , WI were all in the bag for them. They sure had a pleasant dose of reality a few min. later.
