Any debt that is forgiven is taxable income.

We all know how much he loves to pay taxes.

The tax code is built for them because they're so big and lobby for exemptions. If they didn't get those perks there would be no housing for their tenants.

But it's not a strategy to maximize solvency.

No doubt because he never pays the full amount he owes. A lot of people saw him as a successful businessman. But everything he ever does loses money. His entire business is just scams and screwing anyone else as much as he can. In his mind that is a successful business model.

Trump has lied to the news media , the public for years. That is not a crime. Now Trump is going on trial and lying in court is a crime.

What a lovely catch22 he's got himself into.
Couldn't happen to a 'nicer' guy!
Lock him up!
Give him standard prison health care.
And take away his Detail.

Which makes me wonder if Trump ever had debt forgiven & if he properly declared it on his taxes?
