Republicans Invent Reasons to Blame Biden for Ukraine

Republicans are searching for ways to blame the Ukraine crisis on President Joe Biden, lambasting Biden for his administration’s plans on evacuating Americans from Ukraine.

It’s crunch time for leaders around the world to thwart a Russian attack on Ukraine. But Republicans in Washington seem to think the entire situation is President Joe Biden’s fault—at least, that’s what they’re trying to convince voters.

Republicans spent much of the week lashing out against Biden, blaming the president for not being tough enough on Russia and ridiculing how the administration is handling evacuations from Ukraine.

The curious part of their criticism is that emergency evacuations from Ukraine aren’t currently needed, both because Russia hasn’t yet attacked and, more importantly, there are still regular commercial flights into and out of Ukraine.

Still, that didn’t stop Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and several other Republicans from writing a letter to Secretary of State Tony Blinken this week urging him to reverse course on the administration’s stated plan of not running military evacuations of Americans should they get caught in Moscow’s crosshairs in Ukraine.

No surprise. Sadly, they are not the ONLY ones blaming him. Behind the Aegis Feb 2022 #8

they blame Biden for the rise in crime and the rise in inflation, even though he inherited both.

Russian money gets its recipients to say what Russian money wants them to say.

So what if it's jibberish? The Russians can throw up their hands and say, "what does any of that nonsense have to do with us?"

Their answer to their own question will be "nothing," which just means "everything."

The adminitration has stated unequivocally that American forces would not go into Ukraine on rescue operations. That's why they insist American citizens should get out now. They don't want to go into the Ukraine theater if it involves active military operations. repubs are now saying they want US forces to go into Ukraine and risk confrontations with Russian troops and opening things up to war spreading to the rest of Europe all because US citizens want the "freedom" to continue living in a potential war zone.

Dumb just doesn't describe it.
