Republicans on the Senate Banking Committee have boycotted a meeting scheduled for Tuesday afternoon to vote

They are protesting the nomination of former Treasury and Fed official Sarah Bloom Raskin to the top U.S. banking
regulatory role after the ex-Obama administration official signaled an openness to impose financial regulations for
