I would hope this now convinces all that this is damned serious. If you don't think the US and the rest of the world is likewise at risk--both economically and with regard to our long-term security, or you disregard Putin's potentially realized ambitions dating to his final KGB days following the breakup of the USSR, I beg you to read some valid sources of contemporary reporting and history.
