16. CVS Has The Free Facemasks

You have to go in the store to get them. I went today and they had cases of them. Cashier gave me three. I didn't have to pay anything or buy anything. I just thanked her and left. And didn't have to put my name down on anything!

I found out by calling the pharmacy directly and they informed me they were at the front. I would suggest calling first to verify they got them.

storing them in a paper bag in between shifts. That amounts to about 24 hours of wear.

The testing disaster in late Dec/early Jan was something they clearly weren't prepared for. I'll fully agree with that. Regarding the masks, it may have saved some but most of those dying won't wear a cloth mask let alone a N95.

We received our kits but it was in the 20's outside, and they were in the box for several hours.

This has the potential to make the results invalid, they are supposed to be stored above freezing.
