Saw a FaceBook post of someone lying in the hospital with tubes in her throat (not COVID).

It made me think about life.

If there was a god, why would one person lie in a hospital bed (hospital bills piling up, depression setting in, muscles and ligaments declining) their throat cut for air, and stay there for years...and probably die very soon. If they are lucky, they have someone who loves them, and cares for them. Otherwise, they are frocked.

While at the same time, a healthy, billionaire—several times over—is setting up to attack a country so he can expand his own boundaries.

If there's a god, it's just as likely to be evil and malicious, and to enjoy watching people suffer, as it is to be good and loving.

Same for human nature. How can we be God's children and be so keen to be so unkind?

Makes more sense if there's no God.

Not kind to life. The cruelty and death is impersonal and random.
You dont even know how when or how you will live or die.

I cant think of anything more futile than to be born, kill and eat other life plants and /or animals, reproduce, suffer because of other hostile humans, animals illness, starvation natural causes or accidents etc.and die.
Women get a flood of oxytocin after birth and sometimes the kid dies and again suffering. For what purpose..

And your offspring if they survive get to suffer and do the same damn thing over and over.and thier offspring, and thier offspring ad infinitum.

Accepting it because you cant change it?
Well that just gives me a new psychosis and a hospital stay.

We can't control what circumstances we are born into. Nobody asks to be born..but here we are.

Evolution is the reason you say..

But wtf are we evolving into? Is there a way to alter the trajectory?

And why does it require suffering rape, pedophilia workplace abuse, trauma,
Addiction mental illness and exploitation too just to evolve?

So where is human evolution seem to be evolving us into?
Planet killers?
We sure as hell on a good start with that..

Sociopaths?
Assholes? Look at willfully ignorant
Magats,need I say more?

Guess we wont get to find what that shit leads us to become either..

I really hate the cruelty of existance. It's painful, pointless and sad.

And if there is a god that created this mess I want to kick its ass sideways for creating this shit and forcing me to come here.

You can tell yourself anything to make it bearable.. but it isnt.

And nobody asks how can we stop this cycle.
If your a buddhist you ask than talk about karma etc. . There is no evidence that karma exists. Pray harder, disapline the body etc.

We become spiritual and lie to ourselves and each other about it and try to get a ticket out of here to heaven because it all makes no sense and it hurts, there must be some reward right ? Maybe after your dead?
Well that sounds like mental illness..
You say what about the beautiful things like sunsets fleeting happiness?

How come the good things fade so fast
While the ugliness and trauma last forever whether you want it or not? .

Why do asshole behaviors make the asshole healthier and live longer? Why does our brain reward us for our assholiness on a biological basis?

Why?

who believe in God would say it's not his will that we live in such a state, but that one of our purposes is to build a world where that situation is untenable, unnecessary and ultimately impossible. Others would say it's our job to do his work on this earth. There are all sorts of ways to look at it.
