People don't know what's in their own best interest. They need to accept that there are smarter people in charge and go back to their menial lives. They are protesting for death and don't even understand it

I haven't seen that level of actual assault guns at any of the protests I've attended in the US. In fact no assault guns at any US protest I've attended. Handguns and shotguns but no automatics.

front of them while the officer with the rifle is behind them scanning the crowd for any signs of violent people. This is a sign of effective and well-thought out tactics in
controlling the situation.

Update: I just read that the police were using Anti-Riot Weapon Enfields (less-lethal firearms)
during their Ottawa operation.

that the officers were riding had eye/face shields to protect them from any possible
attack by protesters. I approve of that and it shows that a lot of thought has gone into
the police response.
