(86,597 posts)Didn't seem right somehow. I watched the men's gold medal winner (US) performance and I thought it was boring and seemed the bare minimum of actions to fulfill the requirements for a program, like a bowl of stone soup with no seasoning.

(86,597 posts)And I do't even feel anything about the whole event. I think the Olympics will be collasing very soon. They really are a far cry from what they are meant to be for the athletes and the countries who sponsor them.
The whole thing has become a political pissing match* that no longer has a positive effect on anything.
*Figuratively and literally.

I enjoyed both the opening and closing ceremonies. Who knows - at my age, it could well be my last
