Raskin was just on MSNBC saying something to that effect. He said they have enough information via text messages, e-mails, testimony to clearly show, to tell the story, to the American people what happened on Jan 6th.
I imagine the people he is talking about is Meadows, Flynn, Rudy, Powell, Bannon, all those at the Willard hotel, etc.
They are going to prove there was a conspiracy to overthrow the election and Garland will follow the law. He will follow the evidence and if the evidence says indict the top coup plotters he will do it. Once the top coup plotters are indicted, then the next step will be to go after the leader of the coup plot. Trump.
That's how I see right now. Just my opinion.

(4,913 posts)I guess they believe Garland is sitting in his office saying, I can't investigate the attempted over throw of America, It will hurt peoples feelings, trump voters will be mad at me. They will threaten me and family. If I investigate it will destroy America.

(3,050 posts)Here is mine of AG Garland, his transition from being a judge to the peoples prosecutor has been longer than I had hoped. Two different clocks for each. Time is the one thing no one can buy.

To a "sovereign state" island somewhere, where he can be king. Before the money runs out.
Beats sweating out decisions by commissions, prosecutors, judges, juries, voters, disloyal vice presidents and (you guessed it) network executives.
All he ever wanted was money, prestige, absolute loyalty and the privilege of doing anything he damn well wants. And revenge when anyone gets in the way.
From the movie "Swimming with Sharks":
"Find out what you really want and then do anything to get it."
