Two Ohio police officers harass a lawyer on his own property, another officer tazed a child, and a third tried to run someone out of their town. The driving force behind all three encounters? Prejudice.

(7,263 posts)That cop needs to be fired immediately.
It's not his city. He is there to protect and serve - not racial profile and harass.
Fucking incompetent asswipe.

(7,404 posts)In America to have basic rights. This is just the latest example of why CRT is such an important matter in this country. There can be no progress until this rotten policing matter is fixed.

(6,265 posts)from the trump years where many were allowed to finally vent against minorities. Many, many white people HATE and FEAR African-american brown skin people specifically and any non-white minority. This is a country whose racism has run the gamut of rape, murder, summary execution, unjust application of laws and jurisprudence for 402 years. Does anyone here want to bet me that in 4 years it will have changed?
I am so sick of this shit.

(3,933 posts)breathlessly saying a black guy with dreadlocks followed my granddaughter into our house. I was shocked at first, thought a moment, realized it was after school....., and laughing said, "Oh, that's Alex, her friend." The neighbor sounded shocked and doubtful. The kids were only 13, friends since daycare, best Covid buddies exercising together. Damn, that's how shit starts.
