She is Wonder Woman. She deflects every bullet that is sent her way.

It's so neat to see really outstanding role models for all our little girls! I have two granddaughters! They're both still pretty itty-bitty. THIS is the world they'll know and grow up in. It's no longer unthinkable for women to rise this high. She-Who-Partnered-On-The-Winning-Presidential-Ticket, and ESPECIALLY She-Who-Got-More-Votes.
When I was growing up, it just wasn't ever even considered. The top woman in the White House was there only because she was MARRIED to the President. On the other hand, THIS is the world my grandgirls will grow up in. They'll know when they study American history that what was once realistically impossible is no longer unimaginable.

(63,221 posts)I think she is fantastic. It's such a shame that the media does not give her proper respect. It's an even bigger shame that this is what we have come to expect of them when a woman of color is in a position of power.

(16,926 posts)and as long as you have their ear they will be fine. I fear that what they may be 'allowed' to learn in school 'just might' leave them a bit 'shy' on the TRUE history and how we got to be where we are at this point.
We have SO much to do for our 'little ones' - we cannot let up - we must fight to make their lives better.

(6,589 posts)I say that because I'm convinced that long ago the GOP & the Right in general realized that Hillary Clinton was intelligent & competent, & therefore she was a threat to them. So, they launched decades of lies & character assassination against her in an attempt to eliminate her as a political threat. They still continue to this day.
IMHO Kamala Harris is just as intelligent & competent as Hillary Clinton, & might be even more of a political threat to them than Clinton, yet they seem to largely leave her alone & continue lying about Clinton.
I'm happy to see them leave her alone, it's just that given their history of character-assassination tactics, it surprises me.
