(25,816 posts)3. I read 'The Autobiography of Malcolm X' in late '68 for a Black History class I took
at Willamette University in Oregon. It is a powerful book. 'Soul on Ice' by Eldridge Cleaver for that
class too. And the plays of Leroi Jones (now Amiri Bakara), and much more. I learned a lot that year.
