No doubt you think this about Dan Rather.

How about Christian’s Amanpour?

I guess you think you wouldn’t need to?

Really don’t get what all the critics here don’t get about this being his JOB.

Please give us your opinion of the Vietnam correspondents, some of whom died there. I seem to recall seeing Dan Rather wearing a helmet several times over the years. Do you ridicule him also?

Ever heard of Phillippa Schuyler? Sean Flynn? I bet they wore helmets too, but they still died.

Tell us your opinion of those men and women who died reporting that war. Do you even know how many? Or how many have died in all the wars that are covered by men and women who have the courage to go into these conflicts?

Unbelievable.

...that Putin would ignore Biden's admonitions.

Didn't say a word about the first round of sanctions the president ordered in that hour.

Engel may be an accomplished reporter, but he really went overboard to try and tag the Biden administration's hisoric withdrawal from Afghanistan as a failure.

I suspect he's itching to do the same here.

The difference her is the Ukrainians are highly motivated. The Russians can no doubt roll in, but they'll immediately be in a quagmire. The insurgents will have Go Pros and i satellite uplinks. The Russians will try to jam them, but the internet is too robust. Every IED, and every atrocity by the Russians in response, will be streamed around the world in real time.

John Heilemann, who was hosting, went to him on the panel saying that Richard knew more about Ukraine & area than all the bars that Heilemann had been thrown

out of....an attempt at a joke. They had a little back & forth...it wasn't because of the war.

He and his crew were kidnapped and their lives were legitimately at risk in Syria.

Got a lot of tough cookies here think they could do a better job I guess.

Wonder what they think about all the correspondents who have died in every single war and conflict? All adrenaline junkies according to the smug critics who’d likely soil their drawers if an armed person said boo to them.

Smh.
