Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds to deliver GOP response to Biden's State of the Union address

(CNN) Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds will deliver the Republican response to President Joe Biden's upcoming State of the Union address.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy announced on Tuesday that Reynolds will give the Republican address to the nation from Des Moines, Iowa, after the conclusion of Biden's speech. His remarks are scheduled to take place next week on Tuesday, March 1.

The speech will give Reynolds a prominent national platform to speak to the country and counter Biden's message. It comes as Republicans work to make their case to the American public ahead of pivotal midterm elections that will determine which party controls the House and Senate.

In a preview of one of the themes the Iowa governor is likely to touch on in her rebuttal speech, McConnell and McCarthy both praised her handling of the coronavirus pandemic, which has drawn national attention and sparked controversy and push back from Democrats.

GQP - The rule of law does not pertain to the GQP. The GQP are above the law. Why should we treat everyone fairly?

That President Biden was wrong on getting COVID under control?
Wrong on getting Infrastructure done?
Wrong on getting COVID relief to Americans via access to monies from the Child Tax Credit to bring down child hunger and poverty?
Wrong in backing NATO against Russia to help UKRAINE?
Wrong to reverse TDFG's bad Executive Orders?

The Republicans have no good ideas to move this country forward in a positive direction other than for Austerity measures. They will harp on how Biden wants to roll back the Tax Cuts on the wealthy and rich corporations to pay for his Socialist programs. They will say the word "Socialism" throughout the rebuttal.

Joe will talk to Americans in a factual manner. No matter what he says that is TRUE, the Republican rebuttal will be the opposite . Always is.
