When asked about it McCarthy & Ryan's people:

1st said it never happened

then when told that the Post had a transcript of the meeting they said it was taken out of context

Then when told that they had a tape of the meeting they said, they were just joking.


“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy said, according to Entous, a superb reporter who heard a tape recording of the colloquy. “Swear to God.”

Republicans have always know of Trump's connections to Russia. But what about Hillary's emails?
