I can't imagine Putin want's to risk things bogging down into an American funded insurgency
Probably why there are reports of him going in with horrific brutality. Either that or he won't take it past the breakaway regions. I suspect it will be extremely bloody or he won't risk it at all. It won't be something in the middle.
