…who got to go through their formative years and out of high school before the advent of smartphones. I can’t imagine having all your childhood problems on repeat on YouTube for your entire life.

I think that makes those of us who have lived during that time frame all the more angry and sad that some are so eager to just let it all go.

Is there some human failing that causes us to forget the abject misery, death and cruelty that happened during WW2?

Is that failing the fact that the peacemakers simply cannot overwhelm the warmakers?
