The bargain was made between Putin and Trump so they could both gain what they prize.
Putin would help Trump take the WH. In 2016 and then in 2020.
Trump would allow, then, Putin to take any lands he desired. Even Alaska, perhaps. Putin's raging desire is to restore Russia's glory and himself as tsar, and he's an old sick man running out of time.
Trump failed to succeed in his coup. And so Putin must make his dream happen with brute force.
And so it begins. The plot did not begin/end with the coup. The plot is for a re-ordering of the world's map as climate change affects everything. With the malevolent tyrants -- the people Trump admires most -- in charge.
Kushner and MBS play a role in this re-ordering of the world map. Never forget.

(2,962 posts)People can laugh but Trump would have given away Alaska.
Putin would have landed troops and Trump would have done nothing about it.
Not a thing.

(13,565 posts)and if Trump failed at the coup, Pooty might not be his friend any more....
...and that's why Trump is kissing every part of Pooty's booty that he can reach.
Praising Pooty, glowingly.
Helping Pooty succeed as he goes to war against peaceful people.

(73,510 posts)I was talking to someone I know who is focused on the agreement about Ukraine between Bush the Elder and Gorba chev. I asked him why he thought it was up to "Super Powers" to define Ukraine? And could he identify the differences between Gorbachev and Putin?
Even worse than a "Super Power" was Jared Kushner having any power. I agree 100% that he and his ilk were focused upon changing the world map.

(13,565 posts)Trump on Fox News: Putin attack on Ukraine happened because of a rigged election in the United States.
If Trump had won the election, he would have given free reign to Putin to take lands at will.
