CNN just reported a rambling rant by Putin threatening anyone who interferes. That along

with trump and fox rants against those who oppose this invasion, it seems that fox is actually co-ordinating this with Russian propaganda

The Republicans will bash Biden for being weak while doing (like a Congressional bill authorizing the use of force against Russia) to actually oppose Putin. Heads the Republicans win. Tails, we (Democrats) lose.

It didn't help that the Ukranian President undermined Biden at times.
