I was hoping BBB would pass and give real incentives and make EV's more affordable.

I bought an i3 a couple years ago... an off-lease 2017 for under 20k.

Now with inflation, tough to find one for under 24k

Just the battery pack for an EV runs 10k+. Elon has confirmed this... it's the batteries holding us back. But I did hear that TSLA has completed over a million if their new battery cells.

retooling right now. It is going to happen, and prices will stabilize with more competition

Yes there will be some tough years, but it will happen.

There is no if about it. It will happen

They're not.

They're a future solution.

I've long said... design a VW Golf-sized hatchback with a 200 mile range for 25k and a 10k Gov't subsidy you'll see a great transition... millions of cars.
