The argument about Russia protecting itself from NATO aggression is circular...

Tell me I'm wrong here.

This is what Tulsi, the former Democratic candidate for President of the United States, said tonight:

Okay. So, the US/NATO advancement that hasn't happened in Ukraine is responsible for Russia invading because they don't want NATO on their border.

If Russia takes control of Ukraine, even if it's as a satellite nation, does she not realize (I think she does, tho) what sits on the western border of Ukraine?

POLAND! A NATO country!

This rationalization of Russia's invasion is basically justifying the invasion of Poland because Russia certainly can't have a US/NATO ally on their border!

This is scary fucking logic, folks.

And I wouldn't be surprised if she's Trump's running-mate in 2024 if he wins the GOP nomination.

The whole 'secure the borders' routine is high-test barnyard product. No one, repeat no one, was ever going to invade Russia. Everyone involved, even Putin, knows this. The steps are straight out of the thirties Comintern playbook, the dummied up 'legitimate' government, asking for fraternal assistance, spiced with staged provocations.
