In case anyone is wondering why the cost of housing in the US is rising so fast, buying US real estate is a safe haven for foreign investors worried about the value of rubles, etc.

So, short of that, severe economic sanctions is what we have. I do not want American troops on the ground in Ukraine, if that happens this switches from Putin attacking a sovereign nation because he felt threatened by NATO (not in Ukraine) to a war with the United States and NATO proving Putins' fears were correct. Sanctions and global condemnation will eventually cripple Russia and then Putin.

This is on Putin. Unfortunately the Ukrainians are going to suffer a great deal, but it would be worse if we were on the ground there. Putin might be ready to use tactical nukes if we put boots on the ground and help defeat his Military. He would believe there is nothing between his loss of power and his opposition forces but nukes. And he would use them.

Short of that there is very little that the US, NATO and the EU can do physically to stop the Russian invasion. Ukrainians are going to suffer and die, are already doing so, have been doing so since 2014. This is a global problem that requires a global solution, but not World War III. The Ukrainians have been preparing for a guerilla style insurrection for a while now. Even occupied this will not be over, the costs to Russia will eventually catch up.

Sink ‘em all. Seal Team Six, where are you? Underwater after dark. When it’s nice ‘n’ quiet. And fewer people are looking or on guard. And a coordinated effort so they’re ALL sinking at the same time.

For all Oligarchs and Russian politicians. Send all suspected Russian spies stationed at embassies home. Block telecom and the internet to Russia.

Putin wants to claim victory and call it quits. This should be the start of a “new normal” for Russia. Leave them out in the cold.

Does Putin still own it?

It's an historic estate on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and a playground for Russian oligarchs and their mistresses. Just wondered if we got it back yet? Why would we even do such a stupid thing as give it to a know dictator? Oh, right the Dumbass who use to be president.

But they probably still sent their elite staff there. They were using it to spy on us under Obama who took it away from them. But it was actually turned over to Russia in the 1970s under Nixon for a measly $3 million.

The Russian oligarchs and government officials saw it as their dacha, a second house for summer vacations and good times. You know those Russian oligarchs can't possibly stay in hotels like everyone else....unless it's Trump's hotel (A bribe to a US president that has been approved by the Supreme Court).
