I know we can't attack them militarily, but would it be possible to digitally shut off pipelines and power grids? Take their banks offline? Stuff like that?
I would think that those things are likely possible, but is it something that should be done?

I remember the Cold War years. Spy versus spy days. Espionage paved the way foor iconiic characters of the James Bond type.

Cyber warfare would be extremely damaging and could spiral out of control.

Just as the US would if Russian cyber attacks shut down the US power grid and banking system.
