Random thought - could Russian infrastructure be "hacked"?

I know we can't attack them militarily, but would it be possible to digitally shut off pipelines and power grids? Take their banks offline? Stuff like that?

I would think that those things are likely possible, but is it something that should be done?

Russia would consider it the same as a nuclear attack by the US. Fiendish Thingy Feb 2022 #4

I remember the Cold War years. Spy versus spy days. Espionage paved the way foor iconiic characters of the James Bond type.

But they in turn could wreck havoc with our infrastructure

Cyber warfare would be extremely damaging and could spiral out of control.

Just as the US would if Russian cyber attacks shut down the US power grid and banking system.
