Their state-propaganda outlet and and so-called "news-agency" RT (formerly Russia Today) operates on two prinicples:
* lie by omission, e.g. by only telling what one side said but not what the other side said
* feed every possible public outrage and political conflict in the West

I went to rt.com's webpage and read their article how this whole Maidan-revolution was a mistake that delivered Ukraine to a rule by con-men and Neonazis...
The comment-section is super-toxic and 90% anti-Russia.

I went to the german-language webpage of rt and read their article about the war. Of course, they just so happened to completely leave out the ukrainian version of events.
The comment-section was so toxic that they had to turn off comments.



Sputniknews is the other propaganda-outlet, with a focus on general international news.

Their article about how NATO isn't any better than Russia only has 4 comments, 3 of which are off the deep end pro-russian. Where are the other comments, I wonder???

Their article about Putin's speech has 170 comments and 99% of them are full of hate-speech against the US and pro-Russia. However I wouldn't count too much into that, because the Sputniknews readership consists of people who are anti-american anyways and will take any excuse to heap praise on anybody who is in opposition to the US.
