(32,080 posts)I wish I could say this surprised me, but it's no secret that he's always been a right-wing asshole.

(22,767 posts)The list says Matthew Jay Lauer. You all are insinuating it's Matthew Todd Lauer, formerly of NBC. That is inaccurate,

(15,325 posts)Qorvis' partner-in-charge of international and sovereign strategies and public diplomacy, Matt J. Lauer,
Qorvis Communications
Snip
"Qorvis is simply the most competent at providing nations and high-profile individuals with reputation management.
Our staff of experts delivers real results for countries and other foreign sovereign organizations. Qorvis is not about bringing in the big names who talk a lot and do little," said Matt J. Lauer. "What we have done at Qorvis is develop an agile and nimble force of public diplomacy practitioners to provide demonstratable progress and geopolitical solutions for our clients. We are loyal to our clients and our clients are loyal to us. This because our clients can actually witness the progress we make for them."
Prior to joining Qorvis, Matt J. Lauer was the executive director of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy at the Department of State.

(15,325 posts)Again. I'd like to dig into the co's listed & find out if there are any other US politicians like NINA TURNER lobbying for RU Co's.

(22,767 posts)Not that I like Matthew Todd Lauer, I just hate to see DU look as stupid and reactionary as some other people we know. And I agree about Nina Turner. Found this in her Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nina_Turner#Post-Sanders_campaign
In September 2020, in partnership with Mercury Public Affairs, Turner launched the progressive public affairs firm Amare Public Affairs.[33] (Reference leads to a Politico article, so take that as you will.)

Still the account is unverified, which for someone of that stature concerns me.

(8,028 posts)and more than a little pride, that DU upholds a high standard for truth and integrity, and that individual members hold each other accountable.
Alors, merci ma belle!

(22,767 posts)as intended, and it was intended as you say.
There's still one from last week that the OP hasn't updated or deleted after it was brought to their attention. It pisses me off when people can't be adults and admit they made a mistake. Makes us all look stupid and reactionary.
This needs to be seen by all citizens.
