Risking to say on an internet discussion board, where we are also engaged in pretend strategizing and If-I-Were-King-of-the-World keyboarding (yes, including me). Besides the Faux DOOCY brat son of a weatherman, Cecilia VEGA of ABC is a real jerk. Then there are the slew of media yakking-heads of retired know-it-alls (why didn't they do stuff before they retired?). And the talk radio a-holes - funny how they (cf., the LOESCH) actually believe that the slightest barf that passes through their brain is more authentic content than what actual practitioners of Intelligence gathering know.
LOESCH, besides believing she's really really smart, bragged about her kid who announced that he doesn't need college because he's got all the answers.
There was something somewhere about how burned-out, apathetic to events, blase, some Italians were both in the lead-up to MUSOLINNI and generally after the war - just focused on their own daily lives, limited to their living space and the few blocks around them, no interest in Big Picture topics. I submit it was because of their 2000 history of seeing this latest tyrant rise and fall, and experiencing all forms of human ups and downs, failings and flashes of accomplishment, ending up with defeatism or living-for-the-moment
A thing from The University of YouTube is that the Romans placated the masses (bread/circuses) but kept a lid on "transparency" - like, Don't worry your pretty little heads about the Big Stage; leave the Big Game to the Big League actual players.
The obnoxious "reporters" and yakking-heads have the petty delusion that they are significant in strategizing the game.

(869 posts)in favor of straight news reporting. Don't give a hoot what the negative naybobs think or want to happen. Like watching a baseball game where the announcer predicts what will or should happen before the beginning of each inning....that's what too many talking heads do now.
