Trump Is Walking Between the Raindrops in a Hurricane
Another investigation into his conduct has hit the skids, this time in Manhattan.

...The precise reasons for Mr. Bragg’s pullback are unknown, and he has made few public statements about the status of the inquiry since taking office. In a statement responding to the resignations of the prosecutors, a spokeswoman for Mr. Bragg said that he was “grateful for their service” and that the investigation was ongoing.

This, of course, will not do. This isn’t/wasn’t a parochial New York prosecution. This is/was an investigation into a former president* of the whole damn country. We need to know the “precise reasons” why DA Bragg may be chloroforming his own case. If it’s a tough one and he’s afraid to lose in court before god and the world, then let him say that plainly and in public. If he’s leaving it to James to do the heavy lifting, we need to know that, too. If there’s some other reason, let’s find out what it is. We are all DA Bragg’s constituents in this case.

Mr. Bragg’s office must meet a higher bar to bring a criminal case and has encountered a number of challenges in pursuing Mr. Trump, including its inability thus far to persuade any Trump Organization executives to cooperate.

I can’t imagine what effect this will have on the people doing the grunt-level investigating in James’ office, or in Atlanta, or at the January 6 commission. It’s got to be a gut-punch to them, a further demonstration of El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago’s ability to walk between the raindrops in a hurricane. For now, Bragg says, the investigation is still alive, and the rain is still falling, but the pathway between the drops just became a little wider.

Sooner or later, it’s like Lucy lifting the football Charlie Brown was about to kick. Law Enforcement throw us a bone with some meat on it.

Was Trump guilty and all of the proof is there…or is the press and the corporate mouth pieces just feeding us false hopes in exchange for views? How does he constantly escape what we are told is unequivocally strong evidence?
The man was garbage so why can they never find enough evidence to successfully prosecute?
