Did anyone else here notice that throughout Pres. Biden's address to the nation

that not once did he refer to Putin as Pres. Putin? Not once, which is a huge slap at Putin.

Good job Pres. Biden in calling out, in very blunt terms, Putin's illegal invasion.

I know it's not practical, but seeing other leaders meet with him and treat him as on a par with other American presidents really bothered me.

Of course, they did laugh in his face at the UN. And Merkel was always good for an implied face palm whenever she had to deal with You Know Coup.

I cherished those moments.

but the difference is that Pres. Biden was legitimately elected whereas, Putin wasn't and doesn't deserve the title of President and Pres. Biden refusing to address him as Pres. is a huge diplomatic slap.

in Vietnam, we used to call the VC, Charlie, while we called the NVA, Mr. Charles, because we respected the NVA, but not the VC.

They don't always say "President Biden" when they speak about him.

But when they address him directly, they usually say "Mr. President."
