I have seen Obama and Bush statements, and one from the Carter Center.

Trump had his say last night, and may history damn him.

As I said, Trump made his statement last night. All other living ex-presidents have spoken.

I’m assuming you’re referring to Trump, but not sure what you’re getting at, other than it’s yet one more stain on him. I agree that it is, I’m just not sure why you’re surprised.

However, his statement had no support or solidarity whatsoever for the people of Ukraine.

He called Putin "smart" and called Ukraine "a great piece of land." Like it was a golf course.

I have now alluded twice to Trump’s pro-Putin statement. You acknowledge he made a statement.

So which living ex-president has not made a statement, per your claim above?

Trump did not do that.

He just gave a self-serving screed at a fundraiser claiming President Biden was weak, Putin was "smart" and Ukraine was "a great piece of land."

Nothing to show support of the Ukrainian people, or to condemn Putin's actions.

He and Cheney should have been tried in a world court for crimes against humanity for their unprovoked attack on Iraq (and Afghanistan). Cheney the Dick made $84B from the Iraq war. Hanging is too good for them.

Statement from Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter on Ukraine
Feb. 24, 2022
Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine using military and cyber weapons violates international law and the fundamental human rights of the Ukrainian people. I condemn this unjust assault on the sovereignty of Ukraine that threatens security in Europe and the entire world, and I call on President Putin to halt all military action and restore peace. The United States and its allies must stand with the people of Ukraine in support of their right to peace, security, and self-determination.

I suspect that President Biden has consulted with Presidents Obama and Clinton (possibly also Carter) . They are members of a very rare club and I'm sure he would enjoy using them as a sounding board.
