They evidently save the best lies and garbage for prime time.

And, I never understand why people watch ANY fox. But, that is just me, right?

It is typically interspersed with the idiot talking heads but it exists, if only so they can claim to be "news".

Their most popular programming however, are Carlson and Hannity who are straight up, Right Wing Hacks.

Sooner or later you have to walk away from it. You reach a point where you can feel your brain begin to molder and rot. I will not watch the propaganda stations. They, and their sponsors, can all kiss my ass.

I can understand the mindset, but to me, Conservatives, and especially hard right wingers, do not have a valid perspective. It is twisted in its very core. Therefore, I hear the perspective, but I do not lend it any validity and do not need to know what they are saying, let alone watch them promote their propaganda unfiltered.

What better source than listening to their rants.

In The Art of War, Sun Tzu tells us, "“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

We are in a culture cold war, whether we are willing to admit it or whether we decide to participate or not. The other side is willing, anxious and preparing to go hot, at which time, participation will be mandatory as you will have no choice but to be either a hammer or a nail.

They have shown, consistently, what they are about for the last 20 years minimum. Certainly you can take a look to see what new, fake outrage they are spouting, but it is really simple to figure out what they are about without needing to subject yourself to garbage.

so you needn't worry yourself about me subjecting myself to that garbage, neither do I watch any of the other propaganda stations, but I did think that it was important to know what the rank and file were doing and talking about on a day to day basis, until the time that they brought the Black Dog to live with me and I had to walk away. What I leaned in those years is deeply disturbing.

a-stolen-election trump while the world went to hell in Ukraine without any mention of it by their supposed news network (winger propaganda really).

I check them out earlier this morning too and they surprised me with actual reporting the invasion.

It'll be interesting tonight to see what Carlson, the most rabid of them, does.

It was around 11 o'clock and Bret Baier was leading the broadcast. And yes, for the most part they sounded sane and were reporting the incoming info straight. Except for one guy at the end of the watch who had to bash Biden's approach.

We turned TV off and went to bed.

Be interesting (and predictable) to hear what Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham have to say now that their favorite world leader has invaded the entire Ukraine. After he said he would not, that only the eastern border was the issue.

More apologies? For sure.

They’ve been 100% against Putin, so when I read here that the rw is for this war, I find it confusing.

They do bash Biden of course, but only to say they want Putin smashed.
