Ukraine's bank starts fund to support Ukrainian armed forces with donations

Is this a first - to have a war defense funded through online donations internationally?

If I did it correctly, I wired it to their Chase Bank account in NY which will transfer it to Bank of Ukraine. Under memo I put Ukraine Independence and screw Putin.

Unfortunately it costs $25 just to send the wire. But I so wanted to help. Now will look for trusted humanitarian group to donate to.

5. I would be a bit concerned about putting my $ into Ukraine banks should Putin succeed.

I would rather it went through an offshore bank.
