several times. He is a really good chef and an all around good-guy for at least 15 years that I am aware of.

And yes, Jose is a uniquely wonderful man. Planet Earth needs as many as we can get.

I think he was on at least 3 No Reservation episodes over the years. Haiti, The Layover and this one from El Bulli. He actually went into the sea to get real salt water to cook with. Very cool.

I knew top-notch food, service, and decor, but little did I know what an amazing human being Chef Jose Andres is.

I didn't start watching until Parts Unknown and even then didn't manage all seasons. I need to find out where I can watch some of these series... YouTube, IMDB, wherever.

into a list that you have to pay to watch. I am on a fixed income so I try to find sites where it is still free. All of A Cook's Tour on The Food Network is available for free. He hated The Food Network. This was his 1st show from about 2002-2003 and was 30 minutes long. It is mainly focused on food, not the culture. No Reservations is from about 2004-2012 on The Travel Channel. This show focused on both food and culture. Parts Unknown (CNN) focused mostly on cultures and societies and you have to pay to watch.

Personally I prefer No Reservations since both were showcases. If you look at this site that I posted it will ask you which season you want to watch (seasons 5-8 only). I hope they will post all of his shows eventually.
Here is sample of A Cook's Tour. All are on You Tube for free.

Here is a site that has No Reservations. At the top it asks which season you want to watch, all for free. The Croatian Coast is a good one. They all are actually.

He has become Johnny on the Spot at every disaster, conflict and catastrophe. Tireless in his willingness to aid and comfort in the act of providing food, support and nourishment for the body and soul.

If there's anyone who should be nominated for a Nobel, it's Chef Andres. The man is amazing and inspiring.

Every time I read these stories, I'm blown away.

Renews my faith in the world and the human race. That's no small matter either.
