Wow McConnell!

You now call for a new military aid package for Ukraine? What happened to the one you put the kabosh on when you were Majority Leader!? Where were you when Trump didn’t sent the money to Ukraine? Where were you when Trump used the money as a bribe to get information on Biden? Oh so many unanswered questions?

We all know! You were hiding in your shell!

Yes Ukraine needs help now, but you helped stop them from getting it a lot sooner!

will be very difficult to give the Ukrainians any meaningful military aid since there will soon be no way to actually deliver such aid.

Small arms, ammunition, rations... that is what we will be limited to very shortly.

no more surface to air missiles, no new tanks or armored vehicles, absolutely no planes...

sorry... too little too late McTurtle

and the number of border crossing where you could move modern armor on trucks or trains is very limited.

I don't think NATO will allow Ukraine to send soldiers to Poland and drive the tanks through fields across the border.

Like I said, the help that Ukraine might expect at this time is light arms, ammo, rations.

Maybe some smuggled shoulder fired anti-tank weapons.

The story:

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year-old Texas rancher, whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man.

Eventually the topic got around to politics and then they discussed some new guy who was far too big for his shoes as a politician.

The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, he is a post turtle." Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a ‘post turtle’ was.

The old rancher said, ‘When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a ‘post turtle’."

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor’s face, so he continued to explain. "You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he is up there, and you just wonder what kind of a dumb ass put him up there in the first place."

Yeah, it's late and it would be better had we shorn up the Ukrainians back when.

However, just going on the morning news, they are holding out in many areas. This will be a sniping at the enemy situation for a long time. They will need that aid; let's get it headed there NOW.

Fri Feb 25, 2022, 01:32 PM

has extreme members who don't care about the human costs of their attempted majority politics aim. Words, words, words and politics. Human lives are used as leverage, always in war and suddenly by the Republicans in league with a fascist aggressor, a Party that, historically coughed up the likes of Joseph P. McCarthy that hated Communists/communism. No surprise there especially with the cosiness of the trump years with their Russian 'Pootie'.

I believe the human face of concern, in this current crisis, is only being shown by Democrats. We have the will to stand against the fascists' notion of eventual world dominance. We did start preparations early enough to show the ex-KGB director we would treat an invasion of a sovereign state, Ukraine as an act of war against a Democratic-leaning country. We can contain, at the moment, the progress of fascist intentions without fear. Fascism is Hitler to me. Small men starting big wars. Hopefully, we will not reach that stage.

McConnell is a political opportunist-solicitor and disseminator of false information to seduce a captive audience/societal populace/citizenry. The cult of trump-miller...Ivanka, Jarad, and the boys are all stirring a slowly emptying pot of grifter-ing... ALL ARE.

The side of right, turning back the fascist elements is what here? How much more will be needed? By the US.

Top two that spring to mind are his intent to use the higher gas prices that the war is currently causing as a midterm attack against the Democrats or he or his wife could own stock in some of the oil companies and he is looking to profit off the higher oil prices.
