but dying at the hand of Ukrainians who were defending their own country was an entirely predictable consequence of participating in the invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainians are totally justified in their use of deadly force against Russian invaders, and the world is better off if the Russians suffer heavy losses due to their aggression,
