On the other hand, I am saddened by the thoughts of what might happen to these brave souls.
Hoping and praying for their safety and eventual success against the Putin regime.

(10,020 posts)in 53 cities in Russia. FIFTY-THREE CITIES. Let that one sink it for awhile. The jails will be full. People will not be at work if they arrest all of them. Things could fall apart if that happens. There are still memories of WWII and more recently, Afghanistan, among the Russian people. Do you think they want that again?

(15,751 posts)Gold, the troubled times investment, gold spot got a lot of publicity yesterday for being up sharply - but gold down a bunch today.
So, longer term, at least from the markets perspective, - seems that putin not nearly as formidable as instant media makes putin seem.
