Ukraine is the single, exact reason that Putin installed Trump.

It's no coincidence that Trump selected Ukraine as the target of his cockamamie blackmail/"investigation" scheme.

He was acting on direct orders from Putin. The goal had nothing to do with the fake investigation (though Trump might possibly have believed that). It was all about leaving Ukraine defenseless.

I'd say Putin got a pretty good deal.

It's also no coincidence that Trump spent his entire term doing everything he could to weaken NATO. That was specifically intended to make the Ukraine invasion easier. Trump may not have had the mental faculties to grasp the whole plan (and likely Putin didn't share the whole plan to blabbermouth Trump). But Trump did happily follow Putin's orders.

and NATO isn't taking any military action to stop Russia.

The only country that is going to militarily stop the invasion of Ukraine is Ukraine itself.

NATO members are already ramping up support.

If you are trying to say that support only counts if NATO is firing the weapons, you are really missing the big picture.

With good reason. Their country could become an entire wasteland permanently if the US and Russia face off...
