…that this guy was previously just a comic actor, elected almost as a fluke, who most people assumed would capitulate to Russia, unlike the country’s previous leadership.

Whatever happens, Zelensky has united Ukraine and rallied them to the cause of an independent and democratic Ukraine.

Ukrainians will never, I repeat never, accept Russian occupation and/or a Russian puppet gov't.
