Potentially another Maga casualty.

We had some work done in our house and we contracted with several small Florida businessmen. About three weeks ago we noticed that all of them stopped wearing masks. Okay, we continued to wear ours inside the house, but not wearing them when we're exchanging information outside.

Well, one of them just told us he couldn't finish the job. He tried to, but it ultimately was obvious that "My wife is going into the hospital" was probably another case of Covid, because he followed it up with, "They're going to put her on a respirator."

Wow. It happens that quickly. Mask mandates removed, masks come down, but Covid marches on.

I would be very leery having unmasked workers in my house.

people are going to do whatever they're going to do when your State leaders are egging them on. It was difficult for us because we already had several contacts with the different businesses we were working with, and once it all started, one job was dependent on the other guy to finish before the other guy could come in to finish his job.

This won't affect us at all, but, it's sad that we'll probably never really know how it will turn out.

It’s high in my county in MO. Think it’s a mistake to end masks. Went to my rheumatologist Monday and she had no mask on, but maybe she gets tested everyday. Everyone else in the office had one on though.

What to Know
Typically, a ventilator is a a device used to maintain artificial breathing or circulate fresh air, while a respirator is a mask used to protect the wearer from particulates in the air. Note that historically, respirator has been confused with ventilator often enough that it has a secondary definition similar to that of ventilator.

She and her husband were both anti-vaxxers, of course.

If a customer wants it, I'll do it.

I recently did a remodel where the homeowner had a drywall contractor replace damaged drywall on the ceiling (roof leak). He got it roughed in & then disappeared. The homeowner called him for about 6 weeks, wanted to at least pay him, but no response. We both wondered if he was a COVID casualty.

What a sad testimony about "living with Covid." People can't complete the jobs, or they can't pick up the paycheck after they're finished.
