A while back I said that maybe the least-often asked question was "And then what?"

Now I am saying that maybe we should be asking that now as we allow a maniac to have his way with Ukraine.

None of us wants to go to war, none of us wants to put our soldiers in harm's way and we all shudder at the thought of nuclear weapons being used by anyone. So, we just stand back and watch as thousands of out-gunned outnumbered brave Ukrainians are put through Putin's meat grinder.

And then what?

If Vlad's threat to slaughter innocents and his threat to use nuclear weapons is enough to keep the West on the sidelines, have we not given Phtin the key to Europe? Africa? South America?

I confess I don't have the answer to that question, but I'd like to know it is being asked. I don't think it is a "no-brainer" as some seem to.
