This feels huge. Not sure about you, buy my wife I have discussed we have no idea (yet) of the

depth of the impact - how long it will take to play out - and that life for us a week or so ago - that was then. This - tonight is now. It isn't a video game - it isn't something to just watch from the comfort of our home and think it doesn't - and won't - touch us all, in some shape for form.

It is surreal - it is really unfathomable. And it is impossible to understand (yet).

We also keep telling ourselves - beware the fog of war - the endless "Breaking News" chyrons. Like with COVID, this is going to take time to sort out - a lot of time

In case you wonder what I am talking about, it is Ukraine, and Russia - of course.

What makes it all worse is the TFG cult has decided they love themselves some Putin. Holy fucking shit - that is simply impossible to comprehend.

Putin may install a puppet, hopefully Zalensky can govern from another country. Ukraine's insurgency can outlast the Russian army, sooner or later Putin's army will have to go home.

What is going on feels like a punch in the gut, only it's worse.

Putin is getting a lot of heat back in Russia, I wish that people there would stage a coup on him. He sounds so delusional, something is wrong with him. I wish Russia had a 25th Amendment.

we need to make sure this current crew of sociopath's here never get elected. We need to fight for our brothers in Ukraine and Russia. If we let these crazy fucking repukes get elected we will have bailed on every freedom loving Ukrainian who is potentially giving their lives to protect the very freedoms we take for granted!!! WE ARE IN THIS WITH THEM!!! We have to vote in our little corner to change our bigger corner to help them in their bigger corner so we all can GET THE FUCK RID OF THE CORNERS!

kind of like the mass shootings here at home, the intial reports are always subject to correction and change as the facts get sorted out.
