Pozner was a Soviet propagandist and STILL likes to direct as much blame as possible on the West.

Even the evil that is Vladimir Putin is our fault? Putin is a psychopath, and bloodthirsty, and lost in the past "glories" of the USSR, and we didn't make him that way. Our lack of full trust of him is because he is untrustworthy as a leader and as a human being. Anyone who trusts Putin and the Russian government he leads is a fool. Constant lies, constant deception, constant red herrings and whatabouts, constant and ever-shifting excuses and rationales for war and invasions. (Denazification? Really??). He's even lost his Eastern European buddies. He really stepped in it now. Edit to add: I watched the speaker portion of the video. This dude's eating his words today.

He appeared on US TV a lot in the 70's and, even then, I remember noticing how his persistent reliance on the standard russian whataboutisms would consistently undermine his viewpoint.
