If we prevail, we should invite Ukraine to join NATO right away. Maybe pass some special legislation by nato countries to make it possible. I bet we’ll see Finland and Sweden rushing to join NATO after this is over. You can’t live next to Russia and not have NATO protection, it’s recless.

2. They joined armed conflict to fight on NATO’s behalf.

Voting within NATO must be unanimous. France and Germany voted against
Ukraine joining.

Then this happened.

NATO can’t take them in now because that would be tantamount to
declaring war on Russia. .

Can they stop this through sanctions and negotiation?
That would be the world’s best outcome but could the world trust the Russians?

I'm not sure what that level is because most governments have some (and ours was rising in the last 5 years, especially at the very top, because TFG) but if Ukraine survives this, there will be many patriots in the government and if they ask, it would be hard to turn them down I would think.

is not the same as how Transparency International comes up with its CPI. Media Bias/Fact Check lists Transparency International factual reporting as very high.

It also overlooked the fact that it was a perceived corruption ranking based on public opinion surveys.

Moreover, while the website's factual reporting in stories it publishes might be high, that doesn't mean that the opinions and/or perceptions of people participating in their public opinion surveys are "factually very high".

The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) ranks of countries around the world, based on how corrupt their public sectors are perceived to be.
