Chef Andres and his organization should. He has been intervening everywhere from here in the US after natural disaster, Puerto Rico and now in Europe. I'm sure there are countless other placed when they went and made a difference. He has been doing it for years.

As a new crisis someplace in the world erupts, Jose Andres is there to feed the hungry. It is almost biblical, what he does.

What gets old is having to once again call for the man to get a Nobel prize for Humanity, Humanitarianism, and yes, for Peace.

Like other essentially ordinary people doing extraordinary things, he is the embodiment of a humanitarian working toward world peace, one hungry belly at a time.

I am so proud to share a lifelong membership in the same industry as him.

Awhile back I researched his humanitarian efforts to simply feed the hungry, help the homeless, etc. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, but didn't win that year. I think it was in 2019. Anyway, a politician who had done outstanding work on peace at the border (sorry, I don't remember that guy's name, no disrespect intended) won. And, the nominations don't extend or holdover from year to year, so the next year, I believe it was the WHO?? who got nominated for the same thing as Andres had been, and they won!

But, Andres doesn't appear to be upset about that. He just keeps on going. I think his wife is in there working, too. He isn't grandstanding or anything. He's just there feeding people.

Truly among the best of humanity. I wish we had more like him in positions to make a difference throughout this tiny little rock.
