4. It's not going

to happen. Putin knows the consequences of such actions. He's not driven by suicidal ideology.
The response would be absolute and he knows that.
And like I said before in another thread about the same subject, most Russians want nothing to do with that. Nuclear launch ptocedures have been ignored by their military leaders in the past, and would probably happen again. Putin isn't nuking anyone except in retaliation for the same. The standard Russian military Joe is no more interested in offensive war than any of the rest of us.
Just be weary of wartime propaganda, it's even worse than daily political propaganda. We are hearing a lot of stuff and probably 95% of it is not true. The Russians are not weak, and I personally believe they are trying NOT to run a scorched earth campaign. In other words, I believe they are holding back the worst for in case the minor force doesn't make Ukraine leaders give in.
Question is, will Putin take things to the next level if the Ukrainians don't capitulate?
Personally, I think he will. He's a jackass authoritarian. The only thing that will stop him is an equal threat such as the US military standing on the line over there.
