(9,989 posts)Many of these soldiers are not volunteers. I try to keep that in mind. They are young men who don't want to be there either. I wouldn't be surprised to see more sabotage.

(47,495 posts)They are ordered to do it. Most of them are not volunteers. All the men in Russia are expected to serve in armed forces once they turn 18.

(4,633 posts)Many of those soldiers (conscripts) have relatives in Ukraine (parents, siblings, cousins, aunts & uncles) and many of the conscripts have friends, college associates, facebook & twitter contacts that they have known (electronically) for months, or even years.
Putin has dug his own grave. I feel that within the next 2-4 days the invaders in Ukraine will surrender and ask for asylum.
