According to recent reports, Poland, Romania and Slovakia are allowing Ukrainians to bring pets across borders without veterinary paperwork. However, there are still many animals in Ukraine in need of food, medicine and care. Heroic volunteers and shelter workers are staying behind in the face of missile strikes to care for these homeless animals.
Its hard not to feel powerless in times of crisis, but there are ways to help Ukrainian pets and their families as well as the shelter animals with nowhere else to go. Here are some organizations that need your support to help the animals of Ukraine:

(16,903 posts)Here in the Caribbean, there are dogs that are left behind to fend for themselves... We came here with two pets, and have added two more, the most recent just a couple of months ago..
We cannot add any more ......

And the girl with the two cats they are all beautiful.
I can relate to her,but carrying 2 cats on the long walk from Ukraine..with the sounds of shells and gunfire ..that is incredible. She adores her sweet furbabies.
