Two oligarchs have spoken publicly agasint the war

This is not a good sign for Putin. Guaranteed a lot more are talking privately

Per Kyiv Independent:

"In his Telegram channel, industrial tycoon Oleg Deripaska wrote that peace talks between Russia and Ukraine must begin “as soon as possible!” Prior, Lviv-born Russian oligarch Mikhail Fridman called Russia’s war “a tragedy.”

Putin's days are numbered and he knows it. His increasingly desparate actions will only result in a quicker realization by the people in Russia, especially the ones with money and guns, that he has to go. Sooner, rather than later

If they want to get back into the good graces of the world, they'll need to take out Putin, withdraw from Ukraine, hand over basically all of what's left of Putin's fortune in reparations and probably do a major data dump on Putin's activities to undermine the West. Guaranteed that at least some in Russia's inner circle know this.

They're true believers in money, mostly. I think our billionaires are kind of the same way.

if the Russian military doesn't take Putin out, the Oligarchs will, and I think we're seeing the beginning of the end for Putin and good fucking riddance.

This is good and risky.

The other part thinks OK, what’s the catch? You aren’t doing this because it is the right thing to do.

Here’s hoping this represents tea leaf reading that says Putin is losing this war on so many fronts that jumping ship is better than risking Purim’s wrath.

Either way, as long as Putin is removed, I don't care about their motives at this time.
